Brock Lesnar’s WWE Contract Not Expiring At WrestleMania 34? Big Update On Dolph Ziggler’s Future In WWE, Who Will Samoa Joe Feud With When He Returns?

Samoa Joe

– During a recent appearance on Dan Le Batard Show, UFC President Dana White was asked about Brock Lesnar possibly returning to the UFC and Dana noted that Lesnar’s WWE contract doesn’t expire until August 2018 (as opposed to original reports of his contract expiring at WrestleMania 34). Below is what Dana said:

“Well Lesnar was still under contract to the WWE until next August. Who knows what would have happened. I don’t count my chickens any more, I’ll tell you that. They didn’t want to do that again. You saw what happened the last time he was under contract and fought.”

– We noted a few month ago that former World Heavyweight Champion and current SmackDown Live Star Dolph Ziggler was thinking about leaving WWE later this year when his contract expires.

According to the Dirty Sheets podcast, Ziggler has signed a short term extension to his contract and he will stay with WWE for a little longer now (probably till the Royal Rumble – WrestleMania season). One of the reasons behind Ziggler signing an extension is that WWE officials want to extend his feud with Bobby Roode and as seen at Hell in a Cell 2017, their feud is far from over (as Ziggler immediately attacked Roode after getting pinned by him).

– Raw Superstar Samoa Joe is currently out of action with a knee injury. However, he’s expected to be cleared to return to in-ring action in a few weeks.

With that being said, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that Joe might feud with Braun Strowman when he returns (as Strowman isn’t involved in any feud as of now).

A rumor also suggests that Joe could be feuding with Finn Balor, but that doesn’t look feasible as Balor is currently feuding with Bray Wyatt and might go on to face Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series 2017.
