Bron Breakker recently reflected on his memorable segment with The Undertaker during the October 10, 2023, episode of NXT. The show, which went head-to-head with AEW Dynamite, saw several major WWE stars in action, including The Undertaker.
In an interview with 99.5 WKDQ radio, Breakker shared details of his post-show conversation with the wrestling legend, stating that it led to a lasting relationship.
“We sat and we talked for a long time after that show. He just gave me a lot of great advice. That sort of started a little bit of relationship with him and I since then.
Every time I see him in the building, or when he comes around, I always go up, we have conversation. Undertaker’s the best. He’s great.”
The segment took place after Breakker’s match against Carmelo Hayes, who was supported by John Cena, while Breakker had Paul Heyman in his corner.
Following his loss to Hayes, Breakker continued his assault until The Undertaker appeared and delivered a chokeslam. Breakker described the experience as unforgettable.
“Absolute honor for me to even be in that position with him, with such a legend. It was an incredible night. That’s a night I’ll never forget. That’ll probably be some sort of poster or picture that’s on my wall forever.
So surreal moment between me and him, and [I’m] just so thankful I got to be a part of it. He’s awesome. Love that dude.”
The star-studded October 10 NXT episode, which featured other top names like Cody Rhodes, Asuka, and LA Knight, outperformed AEW Dynamite in the ratings, drawing 921,000 viewers compared to AEW’s 609,000.
