Hulk Hogan and Ed Leslie (aka Brutus ‘The Barber’ Beefcake) were close personal friends since the 70s, but they had a brief falling out in 2017.
However, the former ‘Mega Maniacs’ tag team partners seemed to get along again, when The Hulkster inducted Brutus into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019.
On July 9th 2023, Beefcake’s wife Missy Beefcake took to Twitter and posted a promo video of herself wearing a Hulkamania outfit, addressing Hogan with the following words:
“Let me tell you something, brother, I’ve been scratching my head for a couple of years now, trying to figure out how we can squash this beef, no pun intended.
But why don’t you pick up the phone and call your brother Bruti or do I need to come down to karaoke night, with my 14-inch black mambas, so we can hug it out?
Let me ask you something, Hulkster, what are you going to do when Missy Mania runs wild on you?”
In a new video uploaded by Missy, she claimed that Hogan said he doesn’t know why Brutus is in the WWE Hall of Fame.
Missy said she plans on telling the “truth” about the heat between Hogan & Brutus.

During a recent interview with “This Past Weekend with Theo Von”, Hogan said his heat with Brutus is related to Missy:
“It still has a lot to do with the lady he’s married to. Nothing really to do with him. So, I’ll pass.”
Old School Wrestling Legend Brutus ‘The Barber’ Beefcake most famously wrestled for the World Wrestling Federation (1984-1993) and Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling (1994-1999).
While Ed Leslie was only known as Brutus Beefcake in the WWF, he went through various different characters in WCW, including Brother Bruti, The Butcher, The Man With No Name, The Zodiac, The Booty Man and The Disciple.
