At WWE’s Bad Blood 2024, a confrontation between World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER and Hall of Famer Goldberg left fans buzzing about a potential showdown.

Goldberg, sitting ringside, jumped the barricade to confront GUNTHER, but security intervened before any physical altercation.

Before leaving, Goldberg shouted “You’re Next” into the camera, hinting at a possible title challenge.

On Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray Dudley discussed the moment, urging WWE to follow through on the tease.

He noted that Goldberg has long expressed interest in one final match, and now that relations with Triple H seem positive, the timing could be right.

“Why bring him in the ring if you’re not going to pay it off?” Bully asked. “And Goldberg already said he wanted one last match, Vince didn’t give it to him and it looks like Triple H and Goldberg have mended the fence. Yes, give me Goldberg versus GUNTHER.”

During the Bad Blood Post-Show Press Conference, WWE CCO Triple H commented on the possibility of Goldberg returning to the ring, stating he would “never say never”, particularly after seeing Goldberg’s renewed motivation.

Goldberg’s last match was in 2022 against Roman Reigns for the Universal Title at Elimination Chamber, where he was defeated.
