Carlito returned to WWE at the Backlash 2023 premium live event.

During the Bad Bunny vs. Damian Priest – San Juan Street Fight, Judgment Day members Finn Balor & Dominik Mysterio interfered.

This led to Carlito, Savio Vega, Rey Mysterio & The LWO coming out to make the save for Bunny.

Carlito received a thunderous pop from the Puerto Rico fans. You can watch it below:

When Carlito returned in 2021 for the Men’s Royal Rumble match and wrestled the next night on RAW, WWE offered him a deal to be a Coach in the company and wrestle occasionally. However, he didn’t take the deal.

According to insider source BoozerRasslin, Carlito might accept WWE’s offer this time:

“He just might accept it this time.

Carlito has been offered a contract a lot of times, that’ll give him some TV time and stories + coaching. He kept declining all the time. But I guess it’s time he knows what’s right for him. He can be useful.”

Prior to his Backlash appearance, Carlito said in an interview with Metro that he’s open to doing anything in the wrestling business, but nobody calls him:

“Yeah, I’m open to whatever, any good offer from anywhere, it doesn’t matter. Thing is, nobody calls me so I don’t sit by the phone either.

If something comes up, great, if not I keep doing what I’m doing.”

Carlito’s return to WWE drew huge numbers. His return has over 10 million views combined on Social Media. This is “at least” 10 million because a lot of unofficial pages share videos too. This number is only from WWE’s official channels.

It looks like his WWE return is going to help him make more money, as the former Intercontinental Champion plans on increasing his booking price.

Below is what he tweeted:

“Well… looks like my Indy booking price just went up!!😂😂”

Matt Hardy replied:

“OUTSTANDING!”
