On tonight’s episode of NXT New Year’s Evil, North American Champion Dragon Lee was scheduled to team up with Latino World Order to take on No Quarter Catch Crew (Drew Gulak, Myles Borne, and Damon Kemp).
However, Dragon Lee can’t make it to the show due to visa issues. Although the issue has been fixed, it didn’t arrive in time due to the Holidays, which means Dragon couldn’t make it to the US in time for tonight’s show.
According to Fightful Select, Carlito will return to WWE TV on tonight’s show as Dragon’s replacement.
Carlito was last seen on WWE TV on the SmackDown before Survivor Series 2023, where he was taken out by Santos Escobar.
Below is the match-card for tonight’s show:
– Ilja Dragunov (c) vs. Trick Williams for the NXT Championship
– Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Blair Davenport for the NXT Women’s Champioship
– Tiffany Stratton vs. Fallon Henley
If Henley loses, she becomes Stratton’s servant. If Stratton loses, she becomes a Ranch Hand.
– Riley Osborne vs. Oba Femi in the Men’s Breakout Tournament Finals
– Latino World Order vs. No Quarter Catch Crew
