As noted before, AEW World Tag Team Champion Cash Wheeler of FTR was arrested after turning himself in last night after being charged with aggravated assault with a firearm in Florida.
His arraignment took place this morning in which the prosecution noted that the incident was “believed to be a road rage incident”. Wheeler allegedly “flashed a gun” at the other party during the incident and he does not know them personally.
Wheeler was ordered to turn in any weapons that were in his possession to the Orange County Sherriff’s Office within 12 hours of his release pending the resolution of the criminal case against him. He was also ordered to not get in any sort of contact with the victims or witnesses of the incident.

Wheeler is scheduled to defend the AEW World Tag Team Championship alongside Dax Harwood against The Young Bucks at the All In 2023 pay-per-view at the Wembley Stadium in the London, England in a week from Sunday.
There’s speculation going on that Wheeler might not be allowed to leave the country due to this incident.
However, that’s not the case right now. Here’s what PWInsider reported about it:
“He was NOT asked to surrender his passport by the Circuit Court of Orange County, Florida today. There are currently no restrictions on Wheeler traveling international that have been imposed by the court.
Since Wheeler has not been convicted of a crime, it does not currently appear he will have any issues traveling to London for the event.”
