On this day in 1996, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired another LIVE episode of their weekly TV show ‘WCW MONDAY NITRO’.
It was broadcasted featured matches & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WCW Hog Wild’ PPV.

• Changes Expected To SummerSlam 2018 Title Match
WWE confirmed on this week’s RAW that Seth Rollins vs. Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Championship will take place at SummerSlam 2018. It looks like the plans may have changed.
WrestleVotes reports that there could be a change in one of the already announced matches for SummerSlam 2018. They hinted that the match could be the Intercontinental Title match.
Texting With A Source: don’t be surprised to see one of the SummerSlam match ups already confirmed changed. Don’t get your hopes up, it’s not Reigns & Lesnar. Hearing the IC title match may not end up being Rollins v Ziggler one on one.

The match could possibly become a triple threat if Drew McIntyre is added in it. WWE has teased him feuding with Rollins which could lead up to him being added in the title picture.
Also, wrestlers like Finn Balor & Bobby Lashley, who currently aren’t booked for SummerSlam 2018, could get added to the match.
We’ll have a better idea regarding the Intercontinental Title picture after next week’s RAW.
