• Chris Jericho Confronted CM Punk & Called Him A Cancer To The AEW Locker Room

After the backstage fight at the All Out 2022 PPV, AEW launched an investigation to find out who started the fight – CM Punk or The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks).

It looks like All Elite Wrestling has found Punk guilty of starting the fight.

Here’s what the Wrestling Observer reported:

“The investigation is over and I think it’s very clear by who’s back and who’s not back, what happened & what the investigation found out.”

As seen on this week’s episode of Dynamite, a vignette aired for Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks, thus indicating that they will be returning to TV soon.

You can watch it below:

As previously reported, Tony Khan is in talks with Punk about buying out his contract, as he doesn’t want Punk back in the company.

Backstage Producer Ace Steel, who fought from Punk’s side, was fired last week.

In an update to this situation, Fightful Select is reporting that Chris Jericho confronted Punk after this fight and called him a cancer to the AEW locker room and a detriment to the company.

Punk then told Jericho that this was none of his business and he should leave.

Sources close to Punk confirmed that this interaction between the WrestleMania 28 opponents did happen.

Jericho recently liked the following tweet by a fan about Punk:

“Imagine that you’re CM Punk. You’ve had one of the most triumphant comebacks ever in the history of wrestling. You’ve been promoted as the star you never got to be in WWE. And within a year, you completely ostracize yourself, becoming so toxic that you’re not worth having around.”
