• Chris Jericho Opens Up About His Conversation With Vince McMahon About Signing With AEW

During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Old School WWF Legend Chris Jericho noted that he told Vince McMahon he was going to sign with All Elite Wrestling.

Below is what Y2J said:

“A lot of that stuff is private but I did have a very amicable conversation with him. He knew what I was doing it wasn’t a surprise. I didn’t just show up in Jacksonville and that was it.

The bottom line is the Khan family isn’t messing around. They want to make a go at this and you know they have a lot of money and they have a lot of capital.”

As we noted earlier today, Wrestling Observer reported that Jericho was negotiating with both WWE and AEW and AEW offered him a better contract. Jericho noted that it is the best contract of his career.

Jericho has signed a 3 year deal and he’s also allowed to work for New Japan Pro Wrestling while being under contract with AEW.
