WWF Attitude Era Legend Chris Jericho is very well known as a loyal soldier in professional wrestling, who always protects the business and especially the product of the promotion he currently works for.

A fan took to Twitter and tweeted the following as a reply to a video that shows Y2J in the ring with NJPW wrestler Minoru Suzuki:

“I miss the real wrestling days with the steroid filled road warriors, all this modern stuff is goofy and a tad g*yish.”

Jericho then called the fan out in a Tweet of his own.

Here’s what Chris tweeted in response:

“Please explain that last statement, Bulk.”

Another fan later replied that Bulk might be talking about the following footage from AEW:

Chris Jericho is with Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling right from the very beginning of the promotion in 2019 and became the first ever AEW World Champion on August 31st 2019.

At the AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door 2023 PPV this past Sunday, Jericho teamed up with Suzuki & Sammy Guevara to lose to Sting, Darby Allin & Tetsuya Naito in a Trios Match.

Sting, Darby Allin & Tetsuya Naito defeated Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara & Minoru Suzuki in a Trios Match at AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door.

During the post-show media scrum, Jericho confronted Sting and demanded a No Rules Tornado Tag Team Match against Sting & Darby this Wednesday on Dynamite.

Tony Khan booked Sting & Darby vs. Jericho & Sammy Guevara, and then told Jericho to leave.

Jericho then revealed that he’ll be bringing back his “Painmaker” alter-ego for this match.
