• Old School WWF Legend Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WWF Legend “Razor Ramon” Scott Hall celebrates his 60th birthday today.

After touring the territories (NWA, AWA, …) during the 80s, he joined Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling in 1991 as Diamond Dallas Page’s accomplice ‘The Diamond Studd’, but in 1992 was signed to a World Wrestling Federation contract, where he became ‘Razor Ramon’, a character based on Al Pacino’s role as Tony Montana in the movie “Scarface”.

Scott Hall eventually ended up becoming one of the most famous & influential superstars in professional wrestling history, most famously revolutionizing the business when he co-founded the nWo in 1996, after leaving the WWF in order to return to WCW for some big money.

In 2014, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his close, personal friend Kevin Nash.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RAZOR RAMON!

As we noted before, SeScoops reported that Old School WWF Legend Chris Jericho and WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross have been working with Barry Bloom to start a new wrestling promotion.

This new project is financially backed by the Khan Family.

Shahid Khan of the Khan Family is one of the richest people in this world. He owns NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars and English Premiere League’s Fulham F.C.

Shahid’s son, Tony, has been hands-on with this project as he’s a big wrestling fan.

Jim Ross has sent out ‘feelers’ to some WWE wrestlers for this new promotion. On the other hand, Chris Jericho is negotiating with wrestlers from New Japan Pro Wrestling.

As of now, Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks and Hangman Page are all in for this project.

Talks are going on with AXS to get a TV deal for this new promotion.

This new wrestling promotion is expected to launch in early 2020.

In an update to this report, Sean Ross Sapp noted on Twitter that AXS has denied the above part of negotiations for a TV deal:
