• Chris Jericho Reveals What He Didn’t Like In WWE

During a recent episode of his weekly ‘Talk Is Jericho’ podcast, WWF Attitude Era Legend Chris Jericho stated that he simply hated being told what to do back when he worked for Vince McMahon’s WWE.

Here’s what Y2J had to say:

“The one thing in WWE was, a lot of times they’re like ‘Draw me a picture.’ (I’m like) ‘What would you like a picture of Vince?’ ‘A cow.’ ‘Okay.’ ‘Ugh, Make it a horse.’ ‘Uh, Okay,’ ‘Umm make a dragon.’ ‘Oh okay.’

With Tony (Khan in AEW) it’s like ‘We need a dragon.’ It might be a green dragon. It might be a red dragon. It might be a fire dragon. At least we know where we’re going with it.

I loved working with Vince, and I did work with Vince, but it’s writers (that I don’t like in WWE). Every Sunday, the writer would call you and say, ‘Here’s what you’re doing this week.’ That to me is just like, ‘I f**king don’t like that, man. I don’t want to be told what I’m doing.’”

Jericho wrestled for the World Wrestling Federation (later WWE) from 1999 to 2005 and again from 2007 until 2010 and from 2011 till 2018.

In late 2001, he became the first ever Undisputed WWF World Heavyweight Champion, thus unifying the by far most prestigious World Titles on the planet, the WWF Championship and the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.
