Below are some top WWE news stories of the day, involving Chris Jericho and Charlotte Flair.

• Chris Jericho is a future first-ballot WWE Hall of Famer. It’s just a matter of when, not if, as he currently works in AEW.

However, Jericho doesn’t care if he gets inducted or not.

Here’s what Y2J said about a Hall of Fame induction during an interview with Chris Van Vliet:

“You go up there and give some approved speech where you have 5 minutes to f**king encapsulate 33 years. Because I was at the Hall of Fames when you had Hillbilly Jim talking for 45 minutes.

Yeah, he’s a cool guy, and he deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. And then you get the frickin’ Undertaker, and he gets 15 minutes. I’m not interested in that at this point.

And like I said, it’s not a disrespectful thing. It’s just like, I don’t really see the benefits of it. And I kind of like doing the opposite things.”

• On last week’s SmackDown, Michael Cole announced on commentary that Charlotte Flair will be out of action for 9 months due to the knee injury she suffered during her match against Asuka.

This means she will miss WrestleMania 40, which is less than 4 months away.

According to PWInsider, Charlotte suffered a torn ACL, a torn meniscus & a torn MCL. She will undergo surgery in the coming weeks.

Also, the belief is that she suffered a strained neck in the fall as well.
