Below are some top AEW & WWE news stories of the day:

– Many fans were expecting NJPW’s IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay to face Kenny Omega for their 3rd match at the upcoming AEW All In 2023 PPV at Wembley Stadium, but that’s not the case.

According to Fightful Select, Chris Jericho vs. Will Ospreay is being planned for All In, with Don Callis being involved in this match.

No match has been officially announced for this August 27th event. Over 75,000 tickets have been sold for this event so far.

– Saraya (fka Paige in WWE) is unhappy with her booking in AEW, as part of The Outcasts stable, as she liked the following tweet from a fan:

“Kinda feels like The Outcasts story was a big waste of time. Obviously, there’s no controlling the (Jamie) Hayter injury but we didn’t get Blood and Guts out of it, the whole surrounding division paused and it feels like very little was accomplished broadly in the first half of the year.”

Saraya also liked a tweet which included the screenshot of a fan sign from this week’s Dynamite, which read “Book The Women’s Division Better”:

– While promoting this Sunday’s NXT: The Great American Bash premium live event on a media call, Shawn Michaels revealed that NXT’s next premium live event will be “No Mercy”, which will take place on September 30th at the Mechanics Bank Arena in Bakersfield, California.

This means that NXT is continuing the tradition of using old WWE & WCW PPV names.

WWE last held the No Mercy pay-per-view back in 2017, where Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman for the Universal Championship and John Cena vs. Roman Reigns for the first time ever were the main event and co-main event respectively.
