• CM Punk Drops AEW Debut Teaser While Commentating An MMA Fight

During a CFFC MMA event a couple of days ago, CM Punk was on commentary with John Morgan.

While a fight was doing on, Punk and Morgan had the following exchange on commentary:

Morgan: “Like in the first round, Hoffman is just returning to his wrestling. You know what I’m saying, Punk? Returning to his wrestling.”

Punk: “Yeah, he’s looking all elite, right now.”

Morgan: “Inside jokes being thrown all over the place!”

Punk: “Ya gotta watch out for those inside jokes.”

As we have noted before, CM Punk is rumored to make his debut for All Elite Wrestling this Friday night on AEW Rampage in Chicago.

• Old School Wrestling Veteran Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the 75th birthday of Old School Wrestling Veteran Dick Murdoch (Real name: Hoyt Murdoch).

During his long illustrious career, Dick Murdoch wrestled for several different territories such as the World Wrestling Federation, Jim Crockett Promotions, World Championship Wrestling, Florida Championship Wrestling, World Wrestling Council & Mid-South Wrestling.

His last major appearances came in 1995, when he was an entrant in the 30 man Royal Rumble match at the ‘WWF Royal Rumble 1995’ PPV, and lost a Legends match to “Chief” Wahoo McDaniels at the ‘WCW Slamboree 1995’ PPV.
