On this day in 1995, famous WWF midget wrestler Little Beaver (Real name: Lionel Giroux) passed away at the age of 60.

Little Beaver made a name for himself in Vince McMahon Sr.’s World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF) during the 60s & 70s, but his biggest claim to fame was being in the six man tag team match at WWF WrestleMania 3, where he was destroyed by 460 lbs King Kong Bundy.

• CM Punk Jokes About John Morrison Signing With WWE

On tonight’s episode of WWE Backstage on FS1, it was revealed that former Intercontinental Champion John Morrison has signed a multi-year deal with WWE and will be making his return to the company soon.

Morrison, age 39, was last seen in WWE in 2011. Morrison has worked for many promotions after leaving WWE, most notably Impact Wrestling and Lucha Underground.

The news of Morrison’s return to WWE was originally broken by PWInsider back in September.

Also on last night’s episode of WWE Backstage, it was confirmed that Dio Maddin is officially gone from the RAW commentary team and Samoa Joe will be his replacement until he’s medically cleared to return to in-ring action.

Dio is back at the WWE Performance Center as he wants to become a WWE Superstar.

Dio was last seen on WWE programming last month, where he got F5ed through the announce table by WWE Champion Brock Lesnar.
