CM Punk has had problems with many AEW talents lately, and FTW Champion “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry is the latest name who reportedly had a heated moment with the “Real” AEW World Champion.

As noted before, Punk sees Collision as his show and wants to provide a better leadership than The Elite provides on Dynamite. He has a say in the production of matches and segments for the show.

During the AEW Collision tapings in Canada a couple of weeks ago, Perry was brought to Collision to record a segment, and he got into an argument with Punk as the two disagreed on Perry’s pitch for a segment, according to Fightful Select.

People from Punk’s camp claim that Perry wanted to use real glass for a backstage segment. Punk was of the belief that Perry wanted to do it so he wouldn’t have to show up for work the next week, and Punk sees that as a huge problem for the company.

Punk’s side claims that Perry went against the advice of production, doctors and AEW commentator Tony Schiavone as they told him that using real glass was dangerous.

Shortly after that, AEW issued their safety protocols and told talents that certain things need to be cleared by producers and doctors before they could be done in the ring.

Punk said that he was asked to step in and calmly handle the situation. He told Perry that they don’t do that stuff on Saturdays, and if he didn’t like it, he could stay on Wednesdays.

Punk claimed that Perry was throwing a temper tantrum over the spot not being cleared and people trying to prevent it.

It’s unknown how the situation ended, but several people agreed with Punk’s point of view.
