• CM Punk On Why He Mentioned Britt Baker In His 1st Ever AEW Promo
Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. is the AEW Women’s World Champion.
When CM Punk entered the ring at AEW Rampage, the first line he said was the following:
“You guys really know how to make a kid feel like Britt Baker in Pittsburgh.”
During the post-Rampage media scrum, Punk said that he wanted to put over Britt and that’s why he mentioned her in his promo, as he knew his first promo in a ring in over 7 years will be important and heard all around the pro-wrestling world.
