• CM Punk Responds To Former WWE Star Taking A Shot At His UFC Career

Former World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger will make his MMA debut at tonight’s Bellator 214 event. He’s going to face J.W. Kiser in a Heavyweight bout.

During a recent interview with MMA Fighting, Swagger said that Brock Lesnar and CM Punk were afraid of getting punched in the face during their UFC careers.

Below is what Swagger said:

“The main thing I take away from it is you can’t be afraid to get punched in the face at camp. You see that with Brock, you see that with Punk, they didn’t want to get punched in the face.

I needed it. I needed to learn how to react to it and see how my body’s going to have the instincts to react to that moment so that’s the main thing I took from it.

Another thing is those other guys, they shied away from their pro wrestling background I feel like where I’m embracing it. This is who I am and I love it, you know? What’s not to like?”
