Jesse “The Body” Ventura was backstage at this week’s RAW in St. Paul, Minnesota. He met WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H.

WWE showed this video during RAW as well. After RAW went off the air, Ventura tweeted:
“Yes, it’s true. The Body is back home. Thank you Triple H and the whole WWE family. @CMPunk looks like hell froze over… again.”
Ventura also posted a photo with CM Punk and wrote:
“Why did I come back? For moments like these…”
During an interview on the SI Media podcast, Punk revealed what Ventura said to him:
“I saw Governor Ventura the other day. Absolutely, 100% blown away, one of the coolest things that has ever happened to me in my life is he tells me that he saw I came back, and he said, ‘The place must have changed. If Punk is back, I’ll go back’.
I can’t take credit for it, but I think a guy like me being back speaks volumes. Obviously, it does.”
Ventura has had a complicated relationship with Vince McMahon over the years, but he recently mentioned that he’s been in talks with the company about a Legends deal. Ventura noted that these discussions could happen now that McMahon is no longer involved with the company.
Jesse last appeared on a WWE show in 2010, when he served as the RAW guest host. During that appearance, he and McMahon provided commentary for an 8-man Battle Royal, marking the first time they worked together at the announce table since Ventura left the WWF in 1990.
