CM Punk was fired from All Elite Wrestling last month after an investigation was carried out into the fight between him and “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry backstage at AEW All In back in August.

There have been rumors about Punk wanting to return to WWE, and those rumors are gaining momentum as Survivor Series comes closer, because the Premium Live Event is scheduled to take place in Punk’s hometown of Chicago this year.

WWE has subtly teased a Punk return throughout last week, and it seems like Punk has dropped his first tease as well.

The former WWE Champion shared a screenshot of a comic featuring Ironman, in which Ironman is saying the following to Doom:

“So from that moment, our truce will extend for twenty-four hours, during which neither of us will launch any aggression against the other, either personally or indirectly, agreed?”

Doom responds by saying:

“The terms are acceptable, if not satisfactory. Let us proceed.”

CM Punk Instagram Story Fuels Speculation That He Has Come To An Agreement With WWE

Earlier this week, Fightful Select reported that WWE sources have stated that Punk will have to make amends with several wrestlers, including Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, if he wants to return to WWE.

Top stars like World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and AJ Styles have also expressed their dislike for Punk publicly in the past.

Punk reportedly went to RAW in Chicago back in April to make amends with some people like The Miz and WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H, but it’s unknown where they stand right now.

Punk’s latest story has fueled speculation about a possible return to WWE, and may be a hint that he has come to an agreement with the company.
