• Cody Rhodes Assaulted On Tonight’s RAW

Cody Rhodes kicked off tonight’s RAW and got a hero’s reception, as he received a big pop and the crowd chanted his name.

Fans chanted “Thank You Cody”. Cody said when his daughter is old enough, he wants her to watch what happened last night and see that he fought at a time that could’ve been his lowest moment.

Cody then said he’s officially done with Seth “Freakin” Rollins.

He then looked at the Money In The Bank briefcases that are hung above him right now.

Rhodes said he has never won the MITB contract ever and if somehow, someway he is able to compete in 4 weeks time and win the MITB Ladder Match, then he will cash that sucker in to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

Seth Rollins then came out. Rollins said he still doesn’t like him, but he has earned his respect after what he put himself through last night.

Rollins said Cody is the toughest person he has been in the ring with. Seth then said:

“Dusty is very, very proud of his baby boy right now.”

Seth said Cody showed him respect and shook his hand after WrestleMania 38 and now he wants to return the favor.

They shook hands, Seth said something in Cody’s ear and left. Cody is visibly emotional after what Seth did just now.

Cody was about to leave and was on the stage and Rollins attacked him with a Sledgehammer out of nowhere!

Rollins tore Cody’s shirt, exposed the injured area and began kicking it and pushing the hammer in his chest.

WWE returned from a commercial break and Cody refused any medical help, got up on his own and left.

• ON THIS DAY IN WWF HISTORY (June 6, 1992) – WBF BodyStars

On this day in 1992, Vince McMahon’s World Bodybuilding Federation aired another episode of their weekly TV show ‘WBF BodyStars’.

They usually taped a full month of TV content for the show during their monthly tapings featuring some of the best Bodybuilding-Superstars on the planet at that time.

World Wrestling Federation owner Vince McMahon, who back then was only known as WWF commentator, also worked as the host on WBF BodyStars.

His very own bodybuilding-nutrition-supplement brand ICOPRO was usually advertised during every episode.

Former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Lex Luger was signed away from Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling in March of 1992, in order to join the World Bodybuilding Federation and appear on television for them.

With WWF doctor Dr. Zahorian being arrested in 1991 and Vince McMahon’s World Wrestling Federation dealing with the infamous steroid scandal by 1992, the timing to run his own Bodybuilding promotion couldn’t possibly have been any worse, which is why the project was doomed to fail and it eventually disbanded in July 1992.

The intro theme song of WBF BodyStars was “Go for It!” by Joey B. Ellis & Tynetta Hare.
