• Cody Rhodes shocked the world by leaving AEW in 2022, a company he helped start, and returned to WWE at WrestleMania 38 as Seth Rollins’ mystery opponent.
Two years later, The American Nightmare finished the story by winning the WWE Championship.
During an interview on the Flagrant podcast, Rhodes revealed how much his WWE salary has increased:
“It was really old school. [Vince McMahon] just scribbled on a piece of paper the amount of money the contract would be for and just slid it, which was unnecessary.
I can’t tell you how much it was, but I can tell you it was 15 times what I was making in WWE the first run. It was a different layer with all that I had done.”
