On this day in Pro Wrestling history on October 24, 1999, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired ‘WCW Halloween Havoc 1999’ LIVE on PPV from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Paradise, Nevada.
This was the 11th out of 12 annual ‘WCW Halloween Havoc’ pay-per-views that aired between 1989 and 2000.
The tagline of the event was “When Our Inner Animals Come Out To Play”.

• Cody Rhodes Takes A Shot At WWE On AEW Dynamite (Video)
On last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Cody Rhodes came out to make a major announcement, but The Inner Circle kept interrupting him.
Cody then took a shot at WWE and said there’s no invisible wall here in AEW like the ‘previous company’ they worked for and he can come up there through the crowd and beat up AEW World Champion Chris Jericho.
