• CM Punk defeated Drew McIntyre inside Hell in a Cell in the opening match at Bad Blood.

PWInsider reports that McIntyre suffered a serious head injury after being hit with a metal toolbox by Punk during their match, which left him bleeding heavily and needing 16 staples to close the wound.

You can watch the spot where Drew got busted open below:

Throughout the match, McIntyre gave it his all, even attempting a Claymore Kick that missed, causing him to crash into the steel steps. Punk took advantage, delivering a powerful GTS with a chain wrapped around his knee to win the match.

Sean Ross Sapp also confirmed this update, and further mentioned that other than the staples, Drew is doing fine.

• Triple H addressed claims of a lack of diversity in WWE Premium Live Events during the post-Bad Blood 2024 press conference. Critics pointed out that no Black talent were featured at recent PLEs, prompting questions about representation.

In response, Triple H said, “I don’t see the difference in anyone, I don’t see the nationality. I don’t see the difference between men and women. I only see the talent.” He emphasized that WWE focuses on storytelling and talent, not race or gender.

He further explained, “We tell stories with those talent, and how we can tell those stories and bring those stories forward. I don’t keep track of any of that.”
