• Cody Rhodes Told Tony Khan He Will Stay In AEW Until He Dies (Video)

Cody Rhodes shockingly left AEW earlier this year and is now on his way back to WWE.

According to multiple sources, Cody signed with WWE earlier this month and is rumored to make his official return on Night 2 of WrestleMania 38 on April 3rd.

A lot of fans found this decision really confusing, because Cody took so many shots at WWE during his time in AEW.

During an old episode of the AEW Unrestricted podcast, Cody even said he can’t go back to WWE and will stay in AEW until he dies:

“I wanna stay an Executive Vice President of All Elite Wrestling, and I’ve told Tony [Khan] this, until I die. This is where I, this is the end of my road. I can’t necessarily go back, the others can change but I really can’t.”

You can watch it below:

Something obviously happened between Cody & Tony, because this isn’t about money, as PWInsider reported that Cody is going to make the same amount money in WWE that he was making in AEW.
