– Lucha Brothers (c) vs. Jurassic Express for the AEW World Tag Team Titles will take place on the first Dynamite of 2022.

– MJF told Wardlow that he needs to qualify for the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match, and wants Wardlow to win and relinquish his TNT Title opportunity to him. MJF brought in Mark Sterling and revealed that Wardlow’s contract is with MJF and not AEW and that whatever title opportunities Wardlow gets, they go to MJF instead.

– Adam Cole declared that he Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly are The Paragon of AEW. Kyle said he knows Bobby has his back, but questioned if Cole has his or if it’ll be like last time.

– Jade Cargill def. Thunder Rosa after former WWE wrestler Mercedes Martinez made her AEW Dynamite debut and screwed over Rosa (Ruby Soho vs. Jade Cargill to determine the first ever TBS Champion is made official)

– CM Punk said this is first time he’s been at Daily’s Place and thought of his friend Brodie Lee. Punk said last year he saw AEW do the tribute show to Brodie and thought to himself he wants to be there one day.

Punk said that he heard MJF say he’s done with him and wants to be a Champion. Punk claimed MJF is a Twitter troll in the flesh, and a bigger waste of Tony Khan’s money than Tim Tebow.
