– Shawn Michaels picked Edge to defeat Randy Orton at Backlash

– Lana claimed MVP is a leech trying to use her husband Bobby Lashley, and then slapped him

– Apollo Crews chose to defend his United States Championship against Kevin Owens

– Apollo Crews (c) vs. Kevin Owens for the United States Championship ended in a DQ after Andrade & Angel Garza attacked them

– United States Champion Apollo Crews & Kevin Owens def. Andrade & Angel Garza

– The Viking Raiders beat RAW Tag Team Champions The Street Profits in a Bowling Contest

– Billie Kay def. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Nikki Cross

– Rey Mysterio says he doesn’t know if he’ll be cleared to compete in WWE ever again, and says he will never forgive Seth Rollins for putting his family through this pain. Dominick warns Seth Rollins – an eye for an eye.

– R-Truth pinned Rob Gronkowski to become the new WWE 24/7 Champion

– Nia Jax def. Kairi Sane

– Randy Orton said in a backstage promo that he has been complacent throughout his career (like Edge said) and he still accomplished more than many wrestlers, including Edge. Orton then said Ric Flair, who is considered the greatest of all time by many, thinks he’s the greatest to ever step in the ring. Orton said he will prove he’s better than Edge at Backlash, and will rewrite Edge’s storybook ending with an RKO in the greatest wrestling match ever.

– NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair def. RAW Women’s Champion Asuka via Count-Out after Nia Jax provided a distraction
