– Apollo Crews chose to defend his United States Championship against Kevin Owens

– Apollo Crews (c) vs. Kevin Owens for the United States Championship ended in a DQ after Andrade & Angel Garza attacked them

– The Viking Raiders beat RAW Tag Team Champions The Street Profits in a Bowling Contest

– Randy Orton said in a backstage promo that he has been complacent throughout his career (like Edge said) and he still accomplished more than many wrestlers, including Edge. Orton then said Ric Flair, who is considered the greatest of all time by many, thinks he’s the greatest to ever step in the ring. Orton said he will prove he’s better than Edge at Backlash, and will rewrite Edge’s storybook ending with an RKO in the greatest wrestling match ever.

– NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair def. RAW Women’s Champion Asuka via Count-Out after Nia Jax provided a distraction
