• ON THIS DAY IN WWE HISTORY (August 3, 2015) – TRIBUTE TO RODDY PIPER
On this day in 2015, the entire WWE full timer locker room came out on stage to open Monday Night RAW, in honor of Old School WWF Legend “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, who passed away 3 days earlier.
They did a 10 belt salute to honor one of the greatest Old School WWF Legends of all time, followed by a great tribute video.

– The show kicked off and lights kept going off and commentators said it’s due to “weather”
– Apollo Crews (c) def. MVP to retain the United States Championship (After the match, MVP challenged Crews to a rematch at SummerSlam)
– Shayna Baszler slapped RAW Women’s Champion Sasha Banks backstage
– Ruby Riott reunited with Liv Morgan during The KO Show, and brawled with The IIconics (Peyton Royce slapped Kevin Owens twice during this segment)
– Liv Morgan & Ruby Riott def. The IIconics
– Apollo Crews vs. MVP for the United States Championship got made official for SummerSlam and someone stole Shelton Benjamin’s 24/7 Title
– Drew McIntyre addressed Randy Orton and claimed Orton should’ve been fired many times in the past for his mistakes. Randy and Ric Flair came out and claimed the reason he’s been given so many chances is because he’s “the chosen one”, and will always be more valuable to the WWE than Drew ever will be. Drew said Randy will always be a selfish prick and not a leader like The Undertaker was to the WWE locker room
– Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens will take place on next week’s RAW
– WWE Producer Pat Buck suspended Nia Jax without pay, Nia snapped and attacked him
– Akira Tozawa def. R-Truth & Shelton Benjamin (c) in a Triple Threat Match to win the WWE 24/7 Championship
– Shane McMahon announced that RAW Underground will air at 10 PM EST
