– SmackDown kicked off with WWE Hall Of Famer Edge cutting a promo in the ring. Edge said he heard what Seth Rollins said last week, and remembered when Seth had his foot on his neck and threatened his time with his family.

Edge claimed Seth has put him in a dark place where his heart runs black. Edge said he will burn down Rollins tomorrow at SummerSlam.

– Seth Rollins said Edge is just making excuses for why he will lose at SummerSlam. The Brood theme music played, and Edge appeared on the screen. Edge gave Rollins a blood bath in Brood style.

– Universal Champion Roman Reigns & John Cena came out in the ring in the main event segment. Reigns said Cena lied in the ring last week. Reigns then asked Paul Heyman when was the last time he lost, and Heyman said “this” Roman Reigns has never lost.

Cena said he’s not here to promote movies, but to demote Roman’s a$$. Cena said he’s gonna win the Universal Title tomorrow and then head off to Hollywood to film a movie, which will embarrass Roman on SmackDown.

Roman added a stipulation to their Title match – If Roman loses, he will leave WWE.

Reigns then tried to hit Cena with an Attitude Adjustment, but Cena countered and pinned Reigns to send him a message.
