3. Big Feud Between SmackDown Superstars Postponed

As we noted before, “The Apex Predator” Randy Orton was scheduled to feud with “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles after SummerSlam 2016. But that might not be the case anymore.

We noted that Styles is scheduled to defeat John Cena clean at SummerSlam 2016 and then get a WWE Title shot at Backlash (first SmackDown exclusive PPV of this new Brand Extension era) or the PPVs following it.

This would mean that the Orton – Styles feud has been postponed for the time being. Also, Orton and Styles were scheduled to face off at WWE Live Events after SummerSlam, so expect those matches to be called off as well.
