• Current Champion Has Pulled Out From WWE Events Due To The COVID-19 Pandemic

Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since defeating Daniel Bryan to retain his Title on Night 1 of WrestleMania 36.

Zayn had his wisdom teeth pulled out, which is one reason why he hasn’t been on TV. But the main reason is that he isn’t working WWE events due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Zayn was a part of the script for last week’s SmackDown, but he decided not to travel to Orlando, Florida.

As we noted earlier, WWE isn’t forcing any wrestler to work shows during the pandemic. Zayn, like Roman Reigns, might not be on TV for a while.
