On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite “Winter Is Coming”, Kenny Omega defeated Jon Moxley in the main event to win the AEW World Championship.

Omega hit Moxley in the head with a microphone during the match when Moxley was distracted by Impact Wrestling EVP Don Callis.

After the match, Don Callis announced that Omega will appear on next week’s episode of Impact Wrestling to explain everything.

According to Wrestlinginc, AEW’s partnership with Impact Wrestling won’t feature a lot of crossover.

As a matter of fact, Omega’s appearance on Impact is a one-off deal, as it is being done as a favor for Callis, as Omega and Callis are friends. Also, AEW President Tony Khan liked the idea and he approved.

The current plan is that Omega’s appearance in Impact Wrestling will lead to Impact World Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson) coming to AEW for a match.
