On this day in Pro Wrestling history on January 31, 2001, the World Wrestling Federation’s developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling held a televised live event in the Louisville Gardens in Louisville, Kentucky.
In addition to the regular OVW roster members (WWF developmental wrestlers), this event featured several WWF main roster Superstars such as Kane, Mark Henry, Chris Benoit, The Big Show and The Hardy Boyz.

– Flash Flanagan & Trailer Park Trash defeated Mr. Black & Rico Constantino
– Big Show defeated Mark Henry
– Jeff Hardy, Lita & Matt Hardy defeated Damien, Payne & Synn
– OVW Heavyweight Title: Chris Benoit defeated Nick Dinsmore (C) by DQ
– Kane defeated Leviathan (Batista)
• Current Plan For The Main Event Of Tonight’s Royal Rumble PPV, Alexa Bliss Looking Gorgeous Ahead Of The Show (Photo)
According to Fightful Select, current plan is for the Men’s Royal Rumble 2021 match to main event tonight’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
As announced on WWE Backstage last night, Randy Orton will be entry #1 and Edge will be entry #2 in the Men’s Royal Rumble match.
On the other hand, Natalya defeated Tamina to earn the #30 spot in the Women’s Royal Rumble match.
RAW Superstar Alexa Bliss, who will compete in the Women’s Royal Rumble match, hyped fans for the show by posting the following on Instagram:
“Let’s get ready to rumble #RoyalRumble”
