• Current Plan For The WrestleMania 40 Main Event
After main eventing 3 WrestleManias in a row, it looks like Roman Reigns is going to main event WrestleMania 40 as well.
According to WrestleVotes, a rematch between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes is on the table for the main event of WrestleMania 40:
“I can say this. The rematch that’s at the forefront of everybody’s minds, Cody vs. Roman, is very much on the table to main event in Philadelphia next year.”
Reigns defeated Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 39 – Night 2 to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
During the 2023 Draft, Reigns was drafted to SmackDown and Rhodes was drafted to RAW.
This was done to keep Roman and Cody away from each other until they meet for their rematch in 2024.
It’s safe to say that Roman will remain champion for another year and head into WrestleMania 40 as the Undisputed Champion, since RAW is going to have its own World Heavyweight Champion.
