On this week’s episode of Talking Smack, The Miz made fun of SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan on how he can’t wrestle anymore due to his “head”.
Bryan then replied by teasing that he might return to in-ring action after his WWE contract expires in 2018:
“I can’t or they won’t let me? We’ll see in a year and a half, we’ll see what happens.”
Wrestling Observer is reporting that Bryan is working on a safer in-ring style that won’t need him to take too many bumps and that working for CMLL has been a long time goal of Bryan.
It’s been almost two years since Daniel Bryan wrestled his last match. His last match was a tag team match on SmackDown Live which happened on April 14th, 2015.
