#5 Two Titles Changed Hands At WrestleMania X8

The following Titles were defended at WrestleMania X8: Intercontinental Title, European Title, Hardcore Title, Tag Team Titles, Women’s Title and WWF Undisputed Title.

Only two Titles changed hands – Rob Van Dam defeated William Regal in the opening match to win the Intercontinental Title and Triple H defeated Chris Jericho in the main event to capture the WWF Undisputed Title.

In other Title matches, Diamond Dallas Page defeated Christian to retain the European Title. Maven fought Goldust to a no-contest to retain the Hardcore Title. Billy & Chuck defeated The APA, The Dudley Boyz & The Hardy Boyz in a Four Corners Match to retain the Tag Team Titles. Jazz defeated Trish Stratus & Lita in a Triple Threat Match to retain the Women’s Title.
