• During an interview on Talk Is Jericho, Dolph Ziggler aka Nic Nemeth revealed that he had heat with Vince McMahon because WWF Hall of Famer Pat Patterson was constantly pitching ideas to Vince on his behalf.
Here’s what the former World Heavyweight Champion said:
“Let me squash that rumor, because it’s a fact.
It got to a point where [Pat Patterson] was pitching for me so much for years that the second highest [executive] that there could be in a meeting at that point was like, ‘Yeah, we’re just to a point where we’re just making you lose just to watch his face’.
And I go, ‘Oh, that’s not a great way to run the company’.”

• After Vince McMahon returned to the Board and became the Chairman again in 2023, Stephanie McMahon stepped down from her co-CEO & Chairwoman position and announced her departure from WWE.
Reports suggested that Stephanie knew she was about to get demoted due to Vince’s return, so she decided to announce her departure, especially since she doesn’t need the money.
According to PWInsider, some people in WWE, who were big supporters of Stephaine’s work, are hoping that Vince’s resignation will open the door for Stephanie’s return to the company.
