• Dolph Ziggler Says New WWE Star’s Spear Hurts More Than Goldberg’s Spear
At SummerSlam 2019, WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg defeated Dolph Ziggler. Goldberg delivered vicious Spears to Ziggler during this match.
Ziggler faced Bron Breakker and Tommaso Ciampa in a Triple Threat Match on NXT 2.0 recently, where Ziggler pinned Ciampa to win the NXT Title.
During this 3-way match, Breakker, who is Rick Steiner’s son, delivered a vicious Spear to Ziggler.
On WWE’s After The Bell podcast, Ziggler revealed that 24-year-old Breakker’s Spear hurt him more than a Spear from Goldberg in his 50s.
Below is what The Showoff said:
“I got speared by Goldberg and I’m like, ‘This guy (Bron Breakker), are you kidding me?’ He knocked the wind out of me, put me down, and I’m like, ‘Good God.’
This kid hits harder, and I’m not even making that up. That Spear put me down. I was happy to be able to kick out and keep moving, but I go, ‘Holy crap’.”

Ziggler then had big praise for Breakker:
“He’s got that in-the-prime-of-their-career linebacker closing speed for everything, not just for the Spear, for every movement.
When he figures out how to hone that in a year or two or three, he’s gonna be someone who’s kind of unstoppable.”
Ziggler is going to defend the NXT Championship against Breakker in a singles match at NXT Stand & Deliver on April 2nd, just a few hours before Night 1 of WrestleMania 38.
