Below are a couple of top TNA & WWE news stories of the day, featuring Dolph Ziggler and WrestleMania.
• Nic Nemeth (Dolph Ziggler) will be off TNA programming for the next four weeks after he accidentally laid out authority figure Santino Marella with a superkick.
The situation unfolded on this week’s episode of iMPACT, following Joe Hendry’s successful TNA World Championship defense against Jake Something. The Nemeth Brothers interrupted, with Ryan Nemeth demanding a title shot for Nic. However, chaos ensued when Nic accidentally superkicked Jake, inadvertently taking down Santino as well when Jake moved out of the way.
Santino later announced that Nemeth had been suspended for four weeks due to his actions.
Chaos erupts once again in the iMPACT Zone thanks to @ryrynemnem! @NicTNemeth just accidentally took out @milanmiracle with a Superkick!

• Fans hoping for WrestleMania in the UK or Saudi Arabia may have to wait until at least 2028.
Despite ongoing speculation and demand, Fightful Select reports that WWE sources indicate no plans to move the event internationally anytime soon.
While Saudi Arabia remains a key business partner, hosting WrestleMania there isn’t currently being considered, and the company remains committed to keeping the event in the U.S. until at least 2028.
WrestleVotes reported the following about the WrestleMania 42 location:
“Sources indicate WWE is planning on announcing WrestleMania 42’s location prior to this year’s event, with the highly speculated New Orleans as the host city. The Superdome (Silverdome, brother)—home of WM 30 & 34—is set to host its third Mania in 2026.”
WrestleVotes also noted that this location has been locked in for months.
The Caesars Superdome (originally the Louisiana Superdome and formerly the Mercedes-Benz Superdome) has hosted some memorable WrestleMania moments, including The Undertaker’s undefeated 21-0 streak coming to an end, an in-ring segment between Hulk Hogan – Stone Cold Steve Austin – The Rock, Daniel Bryan winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Undertaker squashing John Cena, and Ronda Rousey’s WWE debut match.
Some sources have reported that The Rock has been offered a match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 42, but nothing is confirmed about The Rock’s in-ring status.
