Dominik Mysterio To Main Event Money In The Bank 2023

Dominik Mysterio Money In The Bank 2021

According to PWInsider, Cody Rhodes vs. Dominik Mysterio will main event tomorrow’s Money In The Bank 2023 premium live event in London, England.

Many thought that the Bloodline Civil War – Roman Reigns & Solos Sikoa vs. The Usos – would be the main event, but it looks like that won’t be the case, despite The Bloodline storyline being the #1 story in all of professional wrestling today.

As we noted earlier, Brock Lesnar is scheduled to make his return and interfere in this match to set up a trilogy bout against The American Nightmare at SummerSlam 2023.

Here’s what WRKD Wrestling reported about it:

“Brock Lesnar is expected to appear at Money In The Bank to set up a third, gimmick match with Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam.”

Rhodes and Lesnar are 1-1 against each other. Cody won at Backlash, while Brock won at Night of Champions.

Their match at SummerSlam is rumored to be a Bullrope Match. This gimmick match was last held in WWE at the Great American Bash 2007 pay-per-view, where Randy Orton defeated Dusty Rhodes.

To win this match, a wrestler must touch all 4 turnbuckles in a row while being tied to his opponent with a bullrope.

Earlier today, Xero News reported that WWE is discussing doing Seth Rollins vs. Dominik Mysterio for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam 2023.

With Brock interfering at Money In The Bank and Judgment Day currently feuding with Rollins, expect Dominik to defeat Cody and go on to face Seth for the World Title (after Rollins defeats Finn Balor at Money In The Bank) at SummerSlam.

Dominik’s WWE debut match took place at SummerSlam 2020, where he lost to Rollins in a Street Fight.
