• Drew McIntyre Reveals What Stephanie McMahon Told Him To Do Just Minutes Before His WWE Debut Match

During a recent edition of “Break It Down” on the WWE Network, RAW Superstar Drew McIntyre talked about how Stephanie McMahon told him to change his name just minutes before his WWE debut match.

Drew was using his real name, Drew Galloway, but Stephanie suggested him to change his last name.

So they had to rush to talent relations and searched for some Scottish surnames on Wikipedia and they ended up selecting McIntyre.

Below is what Drew said:

“Stephanie McMahon says to myself and [WWE producer] Michael Hayes, ‘Is Drew Galloway your real name?’ I said, ‘Yeah,’ and she was like, ‘Ah, how about you change that?’ And I’m on in legitimately two matches, maybe 10 minutes max, so myself and Michael Hayes ran straight to Talent Relations.”
