• Dustin Poirier On How He Almost Lost To Conor McGregor Last Night At UFC 264

The Trilogy fight between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier only lasted 1 round last night at UFC 264, as Conor’s leg broke right at the end of the first round.

This resulted in Dustin earning the victory via TKO (Doctor Stoppage).

During the fight, Conor had Dustin in the Guillotine Chokehold, and this was apparently a part of Dustin’s game plan.

Here’s what Dustin said during a post-fight interview with Megan Olivi:

“Kinda baited him in, let him get a deep Guillotine and use that to pass. Unfortunately, the fence was a little bit closer to me than I thought.

For a second there I was like, ‘Oh sh*t! I might’ve played myself.’

But everything worked out.”
