• DX Member Deletes Emotional Tweet About R-Truth’s WWE Departure

SmackDown Superstar R-Truth tweeted the following today: “Im sorry to inform you all. I just got released from WWE. I want to thank WWE for the ride, but MOSTLY I want to thank each and EVERYONE OF YOU who was along for the ride, Thank you for all the love, support, and appreciation you have given me over the years. Thank you.”

Fightful Select has confirmed that R-Truth is really done with WWE:

“This is legitimate. He is leaving WWE, as the company will not be renewing his deal.”

The WWE roster is in shock. Here’s what Sean Ross Sapp reported:

“A lot of shock and disbelief within the WWE roster over R-Truth not being brought back.”

DX member & SmackDown writer Road Dogg tweeted the following:

“I am heartbroken. It’s the nature of the beast; the part of business that no one likes but the bean counters. I love Ron the Truth Killings and I don’t care who knows it. WHAT A RUN!”

Truth replied:

“Thank you @BrianRDJames I love you too my dawg”

Road Dogg later deleted his tweet.

R-Truth recently faced Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena on Saturday Night’s Main Event and lost. This past Friday on SmackDown, R-Truth lost to JC Mateo.

At last night’s World Wrestling Council event, WWE RAW Superstar Carlito defeated Ray Gonzalez to win the WWC Puerto Rico Heavyweight Championship.

With this win, only Finn Balor & JD McDonagh are left without titles in The Judgment Day. Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez are the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, and Dominik Mysterio in the Intercontinental Champion.

• Liv Morgan & Dominik Mysterio Kiss At Netflix TUDUM Event (Video)

Many WWE Superstars attended last night’s Netflix TUDUM event. During the kiss cam moment, Women’s Tag Team Champion Liv Morgan and Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio kissed. When the host said that was a PG kiss and asked for more, Liv refused and then pointed that she had gum in her mouth. You can watch it below:

• Hulk Hogan Is Disqualified From Being On The Wrestling Mount Rushmore, Says MVP

During an interview with BetIdeas, AEW star MVP was asked if “Macho Man” Randy Savage is on his Mount Rushmore of Wrestling.

The former WWE United States Champion replied:

“Oh man, I hate these hypotheticals. Because there are so many greats, you know? There are some people that I think should be on it. It’s a personal preference. It’s all a matter of taste. Would I say Macho Man should be on it, in my opinion? Absolutely, he should be on it.

There are many people that would make the case that Hulk Hogan should be on it. I think he’s disqualified in my opinion, because… he’s who he is. Self-admitted, unapologetic, so that’s that.

But because I’m also such a huge fan of Japanese wrestling, as well. And in terms of building up the business domestically, there are some absolute greats globally. You’ve had some huge stars that helped build up the business in England and Japan and in Mexico.

So if you’re putting together a Mount Rushmore, is it just American wrestlers? Is it all wrestlers of all time? So there are these questions that you have to ask, to kind of formulate it.

It’s like, when people ask me, who are your all time favorite top five rappers. I’m like, well, I can tell you Rakim is number one. Ghostface Killah is number two, and three, four, and five depends on who I’ve been listening to lately and how high I am and what conversation we’re having, you know? It moves around.”
