• Edge Reportedly Signs With WWE For An In-Ring Return

Brad Shepard recently reported that WWE Hall of Famer Edge is on WWE’s wishlist for WrestleMania 36.

It looks like this report could be true as PWInsider is now reporting that Edge has signed a new deal with WWE for an in-ring return:

“We’ve heard that Edge signed a new deal with WWE that has a pretty nice upside.

My gut feeling is we’ll see Edge in the Royal Rumble as a surprise (as that seems like the perfect place to make a big splash with a return for WrestleMania season) and possibly even see him do a few matches on major events.”

PWInsider broke the news of John Morrison signing with WWE earlier this year, so the people that were doubting the reports of Edge’s in-ring comeback can get excited now.

Edge was recently in Pittsburgh for WWE business. Pittsburgh is where WWE’s head doctor, Dr. Joseph Maroon is located. So it’s possible that he was there to get cleared for in-ring action.

Edge’s last match took place in 2011 at WrestleMania 27.

We’ll keep you updated regarding this.
