• Erick Rowan Comments On Braun Strowman’s WWE Release

Former Universal Champion Braun Strowman was recently released from WWE and it was pretty shocking.

During a recent interview with SK Wrestling, former WWE wrestler Erick Rowan talked the release of his former Wyatt Family brother.

Here’s what Rowan said:

“You know, a year ago, I was in the same position. That’s what you get when you sign that big-money contract. It’s not guaranteed money, man! [laughs].

Nothing in this world is guaranteed. Just get back on, just get back on the horse and keep moving on, man.”

Strowman also reportedly made a “huge mistake” while negotiating his last WWE contract. Here’s what the Wrestling Observer reported:

“His salary ($1.2 million per year) worked against him and one person noted he made a huge mistake in negotiations because when he signed his new deal, he was considered a hot commodity and if he pushed for it, probably could have gotten a no-cut contract that a few of the bigger names have.

But he didn’t push for it and he probably never imagined they’d decide to cut him after signing him to such a strong long-term deal.”
