• Fan Insults Jon Moxley On AEW Dynamite (Video)

Tonight’s AEW Dynamite kicked off with Jon Moxley making his return to All Elite Wrestling programming.

Moxley said nobody gets through life unscathed. We all carry scars, sometimes we try to pretend those scars aren’t there, but those are the scars that give us strength.

He said he didn’t run from his demons, he just beat the sh*t out of them. Moxley issued a challenge to anyone that thinks they can put him through more hell than he’s been already through, he gladly welcomes them to try.

However, before Moxley said all of this, a fan insulted Moxley by shouting the following:

“Get this drunken piece of trash out of the ring.”

Moxley then replied:

“Hey, go f**k yourself. Get that guy out of here. Piece of sh*t.”

• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (January 19, 1991) – WWF Royal Rumble 1991

On this day in Pro Wrestling history on January 19, 1991, the World Wrestling Federation aired their annual ‘Royal Rumble’ event LIVE on PPV from the Miami Arena in Miami, Florida.

Despite the rule of “Royal Rumble Winner faces the World Champion at WrestleMania” not being established until 1993, that was still exactly what happened in 1991, when Rumble winner Hulk Hogan went on the wrestle WWF Champion Sgt. Slaughter (who won the belt at the Rumble PPV) at WrestleMania 7.

This is widely considered one of the best Royal Rumble PPVs, including one of the best Royal Rumble matches in history.

On a side note, the Mountie/Koko match was edited out of quite a few VHS releases of this PPV.

Below are the results:

– The Rockers defeated The Orient Express

– Big Boss Man defeated The Barbarian

– WWF World Heavyweight Championship: Sgt. Slaughter defeated The Ultimate Warrior (c)

– The Mountie defeated Koko B. Ware

– Ted DiBiase & Virgil defeated Dustin Rhodes & Dusty Rhodes

– Hulk Hogan won the 30-man Royal Rumble match
