• Fandango’s Next Move After WWE Release Revealed

In a new Twitter video, Independent Wrestling promotion Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) is teasing the debut of former WWE Superstar Fandango (now wrestling as “Dirty Dango”) for their their upcoming weekend shows on October 9th & October 10th in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Fandango wrestled for WWE from 2010 until he was released in June 2021.

The Saturday show (Oct.9) will also include GCW World Champion Jon Moxley (fka Dean Ambrose in WWE) defending his Title against Nick Gage, whom many fans remember from being featured on a season 3 episode of Dark Side of the Ring earlier this year.

• ON THIS DAY IN WWF HISTORY (October 5, 2000) – WWF SmackDown!

On this day in 2000, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF SmackDown!’.

It was broadcasted from the Baltimore Arena in Baltimore, Maryland and featured pre-taped matches & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF No Mercy 2000’ PPV.
