Like every other social media team, AEW’s social media team is also very active on every platform.

AEW’s Twitter account recently created a poll, asking fans “Who would you rather be tossed by?”

The options were Wardlow and Lance Archer.

Toss usually means “to throw something”. But in the UK, it has another meaning as well, which is pretty vulgar. A “tosser” has the same meaning as a “w*nker”.

AEW’s Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes saw the tweet and responded the following:

Fans from UK obviously felt awkward answering that question.

It looks like the person running the AEW Twitter account will have to be careful in his choice of words next time.
